Project: Letterpress Printing

Role: To facilitate and teach UG students to gain knowledge of the historical milestones in the printing and type-setting industry. Engage with the process and tools of letterpress printing. Conceptualise, design and craft artwork using the process of letterpress printing. Understanding materials & processes, forms & formats, that are specific to Letterpress printing.

Ability to research and understand the historical contexts & impact of Letterpress Printing in the profession of Typography, Type Design and Graphic Design.
